Shining cuckoo at Holmes Bay, Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula reported by Tina Troup

Hi – yesterday (30th Sept) a shining cuckoo was singing its head off in Holmes Bay (Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula). And after a quiet day for kereru, we ended up with 21 in the plum tree not long before the sun disappeared behind the ridge. – Tina Troup
