This site is dedicated to the wildlife of Christchurch and Canterbury. The intention of the site is to raise public awareness and enjoyment by sharing knowledge. Here you can find information about the species found in this region.You can view daily updates of the latest sightings for birds and other wildlife.

This web site is dedicated to the birds of Canterbury. Observations or information regarding first arrival and departure dates of migrant species (example Bar-tailed Godwits) would be appreciated. Birds of interest or counts will be published in the latest sightings section. If you see any errors or omissions, please let me know.
